At Murarrie State School, enrolments are welcome at any time of the year. The process to enrol is simple, just follow these easy steps.
Complete the application and permission forms and drop in to the office.
Organise a time to meet the principal, preferably at the time when enrolment forms are dropped in. Make sure you bring a copy of a birth certificate or passport or visa if necessary.
Prep enrolment
To determine when your child can commence their prep year, use the
prep ready reckoner calculator.
In Term 3, the school will hold an open morning, where interested families can come to our school and see for themselves how our prep program works. The dates will be published on our website and throughout the local community.
In addition, in Term 4, prep students will be encouraged to attend our transition day. On this morning, the students will spend time in their new classroom, getting to know their new classmates and meeting their new classroom teacher. The date will be published on our website and throughout the local community.
International students
Students from overseas are welcome at Murarrie State School. In some cases, families on visas will be required to enrol as a 'Fee Paying Student'. In these circumstances please visit the Education Queensland International website or contact them directly to determine if enrolment is to be 'fee paying' or can be made directly to the school.
If this is the case, please download and complete the enrolment package, and send to the office. Upon presentation to the office for interview with the principal, please ensure you have your passport and visa information available.
