Welcome to Murarrie State School

Murarrie State School benefits as a small-school learning environment, with all the opportunities available in a great city suburb. Our parent and study body boasts a wealth of diversity in family structures, cultures, and social contexts. The family is our priority in terms of learning.

Our school also values the importance of the individual, and how the individual functions as a resilient, thriving community member. Each individual child thrives well from the teachings of the Australian Curriculum, in real life ways. Real life learning takes place in well-organised spaces for the retention of knowledge and skills, and their applications in creative ways.

To enable all children to engage in the life of their minds, our staff are keen to address individual students’ goals so that each individual child can pursue the things that engage the mind. A variety of technologies (written and digital) support the recording of their goals so that both the child and his/her family can reflect on what has been recorded.
